Pastor: Richard Drummond
I was born in Wellston, Ohio in 1951. Shortly after, at the age of 3, my parents moved to Lebanon, Ohio. I have been a lifelong resident of Lebanon and in 1972 I married Connie Wood, who also was a lifelong resident. In 1974 I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior at the Calvary Baptist Church, the same church we were married in. In 1976 Brother Allen Jones decided it would be best to change the name of the church from Calvary to Lebanon Baptist Temple.
The Lord had His hand on my life and in 1976 I became the Supervisor at Loveland Park Baptist Church school. The next year, Brother Jones decided to start a tuition-free school and hired me as Associate Pastor and Headmaster of the Temple Christian Academy. I served in this capacity for the next 14 years.
In 1988, I received the call from the Lord to go into Evangelism. For the next 18 years, I served the Lord with my family, traveling all over the United States singing and preaching.
In 2008, Pastor Jones made the decision to retire and asked me to return and accept the position of Pastor of the Lebanon Baptist Temple. After fasting and praying God led me to this position.
The Lord has blessed Connie and I over all these years. We are so thankful for the ministry that He called us to do here at the Lebanon Baptist Temple.
